Clothing thoughts...

Have you ever bought an item of clothing where you just HAD to have it, but you can't really imagine a situation where you'd wear it? Such is my situation...I saw a gorgeous coat on ebay, and bought, and it is as nice as I thought, but I can't see myself wearing it in public.
It's a purple velvet frock coat - really nicely made. Here's a shot of it:


Nice, isn't it? Now I just have to pluck up the courage to wear it.
